4-Ingredient Best Green Breakfast Smoothie

Hello my little green friends!

Today I am back with another recipe- I am sharing with you my one-and only 4-ingredient awesome green breakfast smoothie! Most smoothies are packed with fruits that are quite sugary, or soaked in honey or flavoured yoghurt to make them more appealing. My smoothie contains only 4 INGREDIENTS and it is packed with leafy greens, healthy fats and super-foods!

NOTE: I find this smoothie is perfect for breakfast on early mornings before sport or workouts. It is made in less than 5 minutes, gives you heaps of energy, tastes super delicious and doesn't put you off exercise like a big meal might do.

Enjoy:

4-INGREDIENT BEST GREEN BREAKFAST SMOOTHIE

Serves: 1 / Difficulty: not even batting an eyelash / Ready in: under 5 minutes!

Ingredients:

- 1 large handful of leafy greens (I use a miss of kale and baby spinach)

- 1 kiwifruit, quartered (NOT peeled, the skin is the source of fibre!)

- 1 tablespoon chia seeds

- 1 tablespoon almond butter

- coconut water (optional)

Method:

Load all the ingredients into a blender or smoothie-maker. Fill the blender with either coconut water or cold water to reach the same volume level as the ingredients (the ingredients should be swimming in liquid, but the liquid level should not be above the ingredients level).

Blitz until smooth and serve!

(This smoothie can also be made in advance, store in the fridge to keep chilled).
